Our Uniform

An Iranian girl unfolds her memories of her school days through the wrinkles and fabrics of her old uniform. She claims that she is "just a woman" and explores the roots of this idea in her school years. In this feminist film about the imposition of school clothes on girls in Iran, Yegane Moghaddam has discarded the digital technique or paper, opting instead to paint directly on the fabric used to make school uniforms to tell the story of a character who dreams of a better future.
